About

Chad grew up just outside of Savannah, GA, and Lindsay is a native of the Seattle area. We met through mutual friends while celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Nearly two years to the day after meeting, we were married in a tiny private ceremony on one of the prettiest beaches in Washington State. Our home is in the Phinney neighborhood of Seattle, WA.

We created this site as a way to share photos from our elopement with friends and family; we also plan to use this space as a forum to share stories and pictures from our upcoming sabbatical travels.

The name of our blog was inspired by an Emily Dickinson poem. We love the reminder to enjoy the present, that each experience and moment in the “now” should be celebrated, and will ultimately shape your future, your “forever”.

Forever — is composed of Nows

by Emily Dickinson

Forever — is composed of Nows —

‘Tis not a different time —

Except for Infiniteness —

And Latitude of Home —

From this — experienced Here —

Remove the Dates — to These —

Let Months dissolve in further Months —

And Years — exhale in Years —

Without Debate — or Pause —

Or Celebrated Days —

No different Our Years would be

From Anno Domini’s —
