A stopover in London

When we decided to add Scotland to our itinerary, it was an easy choice to stopover in London first for a few days. Lindsay has cousins in London whom Chad had never met, so it was a perfect opportunity to make introductions and catch up. Both of us have been to London before, so there really was no pressure to sightsee; we enjoyed a leisurely pace visiting with the Solanki family, and fitting in a few museums and a picnic in Hyde Park.

Tiffany and Navin were wonderful hosts, taking us to a fun local food and drink festival at Alexandra Palace (“Ally Pally”), touring the National Gallery, and of course made sure we sampled plenty of proper pints in proper British pubs. They also treated us to the last home cooked meals we’ll see in a long while, including a fabulous multi-course curry feast that lasted into the wee hours.

Thank you Tiffany, Navin, Meera and Kalaan for a wonderful visit!
